Correct link

Hi all:
Use this link for the first story: http://query.nytimes.com/gst/fullpage.html?res=9405E6DC1F3EF935A15751C0A9609C8B63&sec=&spon=&pagewanted=1. The other link brought you directly to page 2.

Sorry about that.

  1. this two articles are really interesting. what i most see in them is the importance of the family.
In the first one Grace was always happy went her family will star singing the Beatles songs, especially " I Want To Hold Your Hand". For the second One was went the decide to odopt Annabelle that is a beautiful thing to do after that tragedy. I learnd that family the thing that matter most.

  2. I have read the story about the Beatles and i realy like. It shows the real Love of music, and family. When i was young my Dad useto have all the Beatles tapes pictures and every thing about them. I can understand her point.

  3. I liked both of the stories. Even though they were connected to each other, the second story hit me the hardest. The first story was good but I didn’t get an affect about it. I felt like it was just a story of a mother losing her child (witch yes is very sad) but there are many of those. In the second passage I understood the meaning behind both of the passages. Hood is talking about the risks you have to take in life. That the risk of loving someone especially can have a bright outcome or a dreadful outcome. Very good story!

  4. I like the first story more than the second story because the mother and the daughter have both shared in common of liking the beatles.I think it is ironic that as a child, the mother like one beatle(John)more than the others, and didn't really like Paul. But the daughter like one beatle more(Paul)than other beatles, and didn't really like John.
